Since the WU is such a lousy place to share a webcam what's the success rate for ambient weather? I can FTP my Foscam.

I have a bunch of cams, one dedicated to a weather cam. I can FTP, whatever from the cam, or from the recording server. I can say that putting a cam on WU, is almost futile , as I was never able to get them to put it up. Pretty much why I just run my own site with a cam (https://rovr1.com/wind/weather.html), I wasn't concerned with other people seeing it, more for my information.

I never tried ambientweather.net, because it didn't exist

I have no success rate at this time because I don't own any of their equipment. That's why I wondering about buying one of their low-end stations so I could upload my webcam on their website. I don't know what is happening because when I go to ambientweather.net I see weather stations but when I open the dashboard I don't see webcams so I didn't know if that part is operational or not.

At present, I'm using Davis Vantage Vue but you can't get that webcam to show on WU. I think the WU is a very system but their weather station part works well. I took am using the Raspberry Pi with Meteobridge to report the weather. I've even tried using the WU webcam on there to send the camera to WU but no luck. I had everything working pretty well until last week when I had to replace my Spectrum Modem. Then the wheels fell off.

Maybe some do not show since you need to explicitly select to share, then it needs to be approved. Maybe some people only look at it themselves.
