Tropical weather is really. Cool. The pressure drop and the wind rise.

..just a guess..

..sandwiched between a low/high pressure system?
=stronger(sobars closer together) southerly flow of warm air..temps quickly rise..
-sky clears for a bit
-as low moves through, pressure drops
-wind changes direction..cools off
- pressure starts to rise..

I find it interesting how defined the boundaries would be between the differing air masses. Very acute changes in direction, speed, temperature....several parameters at once.
