Weather station to upload weather data to database
« on: March 15, 2019, 10:41:18 PM »
I don't know if anything like this exists, but I'm looking for an inexpensive weather station (less than $150 or $100 if possible), all I really want to do is track temperature, pressure, and humidity (wind, rainfall, and snowfall would be nice to haves but probably not available in my price range).  I don't really need it to come with an indoor screen to tell me what the weather is, rather I'd like to take periodic readings of the weather data and send that data somewhere (a database on my LAN, or maybe there's a website that lets you submit your weather data via API) so that I can look at historical data year over year and also compare it to my local weather station.  Ideally it would be able to connect to my wifi network to send the data so I'm not having to run ethernet to it.  Thanks!

Take a look at the Ecowitt GW1000. Very reasonable and you can add Rain, Wind..etc later as options.
It logs data to Ecowitt.net
