Access to TFA View / Lacrosse View Server / datastream

(1/1)

Hi,
I found some posts that where quit old and I could not completely follow, so I thought I open a new topic.

I run a TFA view station, which is the same as the lacrosse view. These stations aggregate data from several sensors and send them to the lacrosse server. Lacrosse allows a app (mobile app) to access that data. It stores one month of data.

So far so good. The problem I have is that I want more than one month of data, I want all my data! And make fancy graphs and compare rain amount between months and years.

Solution as TFA/Lacrosse planned it: Press the download button in the app for every sensor, every month, copy it somewhere and work with it.

Solution I would like to have: Instead of sending my data to lacrosse I would like to send my weather data to my local server. Maybe a raspberryPi?
How would I do that? I have a feeling that someone already did that, but I could not find a complete topic on how to do it.

Second best solution: how can I automate the datadownload from the lacrosse server? My mobile may login, not my computer. Lacrosse tech support told me tahts how they intended it. I am not that good with all the networks tools to find out what my mobile app is connecting to. If there was an instruction I can sure follo it- but it needs to be a bit more basic.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or maybe has an advice on how to tackle the issue?
Thx!
