Title: NOAA Weather Radio ORG -- For WxForum Newbies, e.g.
Post by: NWROrg Team on March 27, 2018, 05:30:46 PM
Last Year the WxForum Community established a NOAA Weather Radio streaming website

History and HOW TO, quality, etc... information is available on the Website
http://noaaweatherradio.org

This is one of the 'little mentioned' services provided by WxForum folks, and many other 'interested parties'....
it replaces the 'junked' WU NWR feed service... which was obviously not profitable for them...

We don't care about that... we're out to
"Save A Life"....

This is great for those who have loved ones in another state and they want to monitors severe weather in an area far away from them. Great job!

Would we have permission to embed this on our sites?

You don't need to embed noaaweatherradio.org on your site, you can install player software using
https://saratoga-weather.org/scripts-wxradio.php#wxradio . That player auto-updates with the available streams from noaaweatherradio.org.

The script that Ken refers to:
For Stream Providers
,
examples:

http://bismarckweather.net/wxradio.php

The script is virtually maintenance free, updates and syncs with the NOAA Weather Radio Org data approximately hourly.

This is a wonderful site, I have it bookmarked.   It' more reliable than Weather Underground's weather radio site was.  Keep up the great work folks..
