Is there a method to display historical Blitzortung lightning maps for this event?

Select the "2-24 hour" checkbox.  You should be able to zoom in to the Duluth area and see whether the strikes are displayed.

I would add that if you are logged in and fully zoom in on a strike you can see the timestamp too.
