The signals hit the antenna broadside... the initial high level signals are hitting the 'green' antenna, whichever one it is, for example, if it's broadside East/West, then the signal is coming from one of those two directions, more or less. If your antennas are phased exactly the same, it looks like it's West. Anyway, doesn't matter. rotate the antennas, till the arrow the two antennas form is pointing either 'east' or 'west'. Now you should see more or less equal signal on both channels, and it should be less than green was on the original orientation. That would be about signal minimum.
Now adjust your threshold value so it just stops triggering.
from this point you can play with location until you minimize that, patience is the word.
I have one, and only one 'sweet spot' in my residence. It's in the garage, in front of the door, 3.5' above ground, 2 feet from the door, in the exact center, where all my noise is minimize. Sucks.
