WiFi Logger 2.0 not connecting
« on: March 14, 2025, 06:51:16 PM »
Hello! I have a WiFi Logger 2.0 in my Vantage Pro2 console. Installed January 2021, and no real issues other than the occasional power cycle to reconnect. A couple weeks ago we had a power outage for about 2 hours. The next morning I did the usual power cycle but it did not reconnect. Installed new backup batteries also. Nada. I've used the Reset and Set buttons, even did a factory reset. In the end all it will do is blink steady green. Never jumps into Access Point mode and does not show up running a network scanner app.

No idea how to get it back online. Maybe it is damaged. Hoping someone here may know. Thanks in advance.

Thanks to Wojtek for the awesome support!

Wifi logger replaced and is connecting to my router. Next steps are connecting to Weatherlink, CWOPS, WU, etc.

Weatherlink is asking for Device ID, which appears to be the MAC address, but no idea what the "Key" information should be.

In your Weatherlink.com site click on the (wrench icon), and that will bring up the Device info page and displays your Device ID and Key.

Enjoy,
Paul

Paul answered your question but to reiterate, the device ID is NOT your MAC address.
