Topic: Change from vue to pro 2 , no usb com with weathercat. Running mac

Changing from a vantage vue to vantage pro 2 console and now weathercat cant find station. I am using a macbook and with the vantage vue it could find the station and download historic data from vantage vue. plugging in the datalogger to vantage pro and now it cant find and download data...Vantage Pro shows data baud rate so it can see the datalogger.
also tried the usual things found on the internet

Is there a difference betwen the too ?
