I updated my Eero router the other day. I use WeatherLink 6.05 with a USB connection on my PC. TP 3020 (using Meteobridge) sending wireless data from my Vantage Vue to my network which is then transmitted from WeatherLink on my PC. Its been running 8 years no problems until now. Keep getting error in WL Setup/Communications Port "Cannot establish connection since port is already in use. Please disconnect and try again." Tried unplugging and plugging data logger out of station. Unplugged and removed batteries from Vue. Tried reverting back to older version of Meteobridge. Still get same error. How can I restore my TP 3020 back to its factory settings and reinstall everything fresh? Any ideas, links or suggestions appreciated. Cant figure how to reconnect the TP 3020 to factory reset it. Thanks.

If the Eero router was updated then wouldn't the issue be with that?

"In Use" errors can be caused by another application using the port .... or .... another instance of the same App using the port.

I started and restarted PC several times. I used task manager and no other instances of WeatherLink were running. I closed and restarted WeatherLink and also reinstalled WeatherLink. Do you know where to start to figure out what application is using the port? Thanks. If I can't how can I wipe the TP 3020 clean and reinstall Meteobridge

Is there any configuration file left behind when you did re-install of WL? Could it retain some COMM settings that prevent WL from making new connection?

All other things work with updated router?

This shows PID on far left of CMD page # 28308 which is WeatherLink running and connected to proper IP address and port #22222. When I end process port goes away and reappears when I open WL again but I keep getting same error saying port is already open. I'm ready to give up and just get the WL transmitter but it bothers me I cannot figure why it saying the port is already open. Can the USB port adapter in back of Vue station be bad? Thanks for the help. Definitely have internet connection as I can access Meteobridge and WU states online but no data being transmitted. Am I missing something in setup? But i did not touch anything. Has to have something to do with Eero upgrade but I have changed passwords on my first model Eero and had to reconnect everything and had no problems?

Weatherlink Live uses port 5621 and port 53. Make sure they are open to communicate with the Davis servers. I had the same no data issue when I set up WLL with our VP Pro 2 Plus and the IT dept opened up those two ports which resolved the issue

Sorry everyone. My fault. Finally found screen shots I had of original setup. Had the connection set to TCP/IP when it should have been serial. Everything up and running again. I already ordered a WeatherLink Live Davis 6100 for 200 dollars but have not set it up yet. Wonder if I should return it or set it up and use so I don't have to go thru this anymore. If anyone has one please let me know what you think. Thanks everyone for all your help.
