Yes it picks it up fine. The problem is what gets pushed to WU. I’m only seeing the inside pressure on the WU dashboard.
The WH31 is considered an extra temperature sensor, it only shows up on Ecowitt.net. It is not the main temperature sensor for outdoor use. The Weather Underground upload protocol only allows for outdoor temperature. To upload outdoor temperature to Weather Underground with a GW1000 you need to have one of the following outdoor sensors.
- WH65 - all-in-one outdoor sensor array with wind, rain, temperature, humidity
- WH32 - outdoor temperature and humidity (highly recommend keeping in shade or add a RS-00001 shield or make your own Stevenson screen)
The GW1000 only has 3 sensor built in. It has Temperature (for indoor), humidity (for indoor), and a barometric pressure sensor. Of those 3 sensors only the barometric pressure sensor is sent to Weather Underground. You have to add one of the other outdoor sensors that I mentioned to send other stuff to Weather Underground.
If you go with the WH32 sensor you may then want to also add the separate rain and wind sensors so that you have complete data to send to Weather Underground. The wind sensor is the WS68 and the rain sensor is the WH40.
