WeeWX doesn't seem to read the Davis WLL
« on: May 21, 2020, 12:02:08 PM »
I'm brand new to the personal weather station scene having just received a Vantage Pro wireless and Weatherlink Live. The setup works as far as the data getting to the weatherlink website and app. But WeeWX doesn't seem to be pulling the data to send it to other sites.

I installed WeeWX to a Raspberry Pi on a Raspberry Pi. During the setup it didn't have an option for the WLL, only WeatherlinkIP which I went with setting the host IP address to the WLL. I let it run all night but no data was sent to WU or PWS Weather.

Does WeeWX in fact support the WLL?

Officially WeeWX does not support WLL yet. It is on the to-do-list:
https://github.com/weewx/weewx/issues/412

But someone did write a WLL driver for WeeWX:
https://github.com/jonotaegi/weewx-wll

So the answer is yes....just not built in.

Thank you for the info! However, in the mean time I installed CumulusMX and got that working. I'll definitely try WeeWX at some point.
