Si4707 WB Receiver IC
« on: September 20, 2013, 08:05:33 AM »
Silicon Labs introduced the Si4707 Weather Band receiver IC a while back.  It includes built in S.A.M.E. decoding.  They haven't really been available to experimenters until recently.  I ran across these:

Looks like a simple break out board that will allow you to build/program what you want in a WB receiver.

Python conversion files of the original Arduino libraries with videos are now posted for use with Beaglebone Black for you embedded linux fans. I would assume Rasp-Pi would be feasible as well since the I2C and GPIO are based on the Adafruit BBIO libraries.
