I've seen SQL Databases and it looks Like you have to have a dictated Server. I have a Pretty Good PC with 2 TB of Empty Data Storage. But, It looks like I have to Write Script or have an SQL Program. I have Access, and Excel but I don't think that will work.
Thanks for the Reply

I wish I could do the Fancy Stuff

Help Needed – Unable to Access Meteobridge Web Interface (TL-MR3020)
« Reply #26 on: May 25, 2025, 08:56:25 AM »
Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble accessing my Meteobridge’s web interface for configuration, and I’d really appreciate any help or advice you can offer. Here’s my current setup and issue:

I connected the Meteobridge (TL-MR3020) to my computer using an Ethernet cable and selected the 3G/4G mode. The reset button kept flashing for a while, and after several attempts, I finally managed to reset it properly. Once the LED turned solid green, I used Advanced IP Scanner to search for the Meteobridge’s IP address. It did find the IP address, but the status was shown as "dead."

When I tried to access the IP through my browser and entered the default username and password ("meteobridge"), I couldn’t reach the configuration interface. Instead, I got an error page (screenshot attached).

I contacted the Meteobridge company and they said it might be a network issue. However, even with assistance from my university’s IT department, we weren’t able to resolve it.

I’d really appreciate it if anyone could share how they set up their Meteobridge device—especially if you're using the TL-MR3020 model. Step-by-step guidance would be amazing, and if there’s a setup video or tutorial available, that would be even better.

Thanks in advance for your help!

That would appear to be an internet issue, something in the network is preventing the unit from accessing the MB server.

Thanks Mattk reply! But I set the meteobridge at my home and changed the network; it also was not working.

Hi

For initial setup I would connect directly to your router via ethernet cable and do your reset and then access your meteobridge while connected via the ethernet cable.

Once you have everything setup, you should be able to remove the cable and let your meteobridge connect wirelessly…assuming that was part of your setup.

@Zijun: Davis Australia contacted me on a similar matter. Are you a customer of them or is it a distinct case?

This is what I wrote them:

The Meteobridge connects fine to the LAN, but it is not given a DNS from the router and therefore name resolution does not work.

    Resolving download.meteobridge.com... failed: Try again.
wget: unable to resolve host address 'download.meteobridge.com'

A setup with static IP 192.168.8.200 (as example) and giving 8.8.8.8 as DNS and 192.168.8.1 as gateway and 255.255.255.0 as net mask should do.
