UPDATE: Our power has been restored here in Northern California Sierra foothills. The next PPO has been rescinded so things should be good for a while. I am however still monitoring projected humidity, wind and temperature to see if the conditions may be right to have another one in the near future. Thank you for your support.

Frankly, I'm surprised we're not burning more down here, just about everyone's got negative dew values and RH's at 5-6% or less. At least the wind has died down....for the moment. 8-[

A new PSPS advisory from PG&E scheduled for Wednesday afternoon through Thursday evening. This outage is not as widespread as the previous ones. Things are improving a bit because large generators have been moved to power substations to provide power on a localized basis while being disconnected from the main grid. The link below is to the PG&E weather page and lists areas of possible shutoffs. This gives a 7-day forecast.  Hundreds of weather stations have been placed all over California by PG&E to monitor conditions.
