Missing windrose.png for wxtrends.
« on: February 21, 2022, 12:32:03 PM »
MB-trends-inc.php is looking for windrose.png in ./
I don't have a windrose.png anywhere.

Is there anyway to get the windrose graphic for the trends page?
Looks like some sites that have it are using dirplot.gif
Do I need to replicate some code from the dashboard to use that on the trends page?
Other suggestions?
Davis Pro2+ and Meteobridge Pro

Thanks.

My testing site at https://saratogawx.net/wxtrends.php doesn't show anything regarding the windrose, as the windrose.png image isn't present.

The current version of Meteobridge software doesn't generate the image at all (AFAIK).

Understood and your MB output is what output I'm currently getting, unlike what you have on your production site.    Was hoping someone has some changes/extensions to wxtrends to generate a windrose from the MB data.  Otherwise I'll put it on my "to do" list.

I used to use jpgraphs for that. I went back to using WD's dirplot.gif as I couldn't see having the large amount of files required for jpgraphs just for 1 item, but it worked very well for rendering a windrose. Here's an example of the windrose at jpgraphs: https://jpgraph.net/images/gallery/wind1.png
