Well, I couldn't care less about Wake up With Al leaving but Vivian Brown leaving is a pretty big loss. I'd like to know who all is left there from 12 years ago. Honestly, I don't watch TWC much anymore, but other than Jim Cantore and Greg Forbes, there are many people I haven't seen for awhile: Jeff Morrow, Nicole Mitchell (At least she dived at them), Marshall Seese, etc.

I don't the weather channel that much either I watch my favorite local channel for my weather and HLN to get the weather and I also check in to the forums like this forum weather watch in which I do also try to learn about the weather from you guys by being patience on the help and reading up on the posts that come in, and a weather group that gives out weather warnings. So I have a round round weather report from two sources. Web and tv.

They are actively trying to sell after running into the ground. Doesn't anything NBC Universal touch, turn into some kind of cesspool. http://money.cnn.com/2015/08/19/media/weather-channel-sale-exploration/
Hopefully WU is also included in the sale. Maybe the White House will come out and give them bail out money saying it's pertinent to our worlds survival, so they can keep spewing their garbage.

I'll believe it when I see it. Actually doing live weather 24-7 again would be wonderful but have my doubts. How would the world survive without lifestyle and entertainment segments and the rest of the garbage that has nothing to do with being a Weather Channel.

I guess those folks could migrate back to the Lifetime channel...which is the rock they crawled from under to begin with...

As bad as the Today show has gotten, it is a lot worse when they try to tie into the weather channel for one of their bimbos to do a spot. I groan when that happens. Much more effective, which isn't saying much, is to let Al do his thing, then cut to the real meat of the matter, the local guys. I'm fortunate to live near Minneapolis and with the 15th largest market in the US, they have some pretty good talent. The real locals are barely paying their on air folks so what we get here is as bad or worse than the wx channel.

Carl Parker is still there. He's on evenings as a Storm Specialist.
