For whatever reason, my base display was getting no wind speed input from the 5-in-1. I was getting all other inputs. After reading numerous contributor's inputs on this forum, and checking various things, I have found a solution. After removing the top of the unit, and lifting the black cover from over the circuit board, I sprayed the board with contact cleaner at close range to clean and blast away any debris that I couldn't see. I used the cleaner liberally, then left the unit open to the air in an air conditioned room to dry the condensate that formed as a result of the cold spray and the SC humidity. After about half hour I assembled the unit and, shazaam, I have a wind speed indication on my display again. To test the input, I put the unit in front of a floor fan on low speed which gives me 3 mph wind speed. Hope this helps someone else.
