Hi Stan,

It would be great for you to have one there. There is a detector in Martinique and Columbia, South America, and they still contribute to the North America Map.

Wow!  Wish my boss would give me that much time off.

I went to the web page you suggested and resubmitted my request.

Randy

Can someone tell me how to buy a kit or what the price is?
I found the web page and sent emails but have not received a reply.

Randy

Randy,

Based on some earlier messages, Egon, who handles the orders is on vacation and won't be back until around September 10. If you have sent your email, I would suggest just being patient until he gets back. Egon is very good about responding to questions and orders. Your timing just happens to be bad. Did you go to the http://blitzortung.org webpage (Cover your Area tab) and submit your information request from there? If not, that is where you have to initiate the request.

Randy, I'm sure he will contact as soon as he can. He is really good about getting back to people.

Enjoy!!

Hi,

Thanks for the encouragement Don and sacreyweather.  We usually experience a couple of electrical storms in a year at most.  Most of the storms usually are off shore and kinda distant from the islands. So will see if it warrants the expense.

Don, thanks for the comment on my web site.  Many have helped in the development from the forums.  As most, it is an on going work in progress and this blitzortung.org is one of them.

Regards,

Just jumped in and placed my order today... Moving next week so I have plenty to do before I can think about putting it together.  First I'll need to get my Davis VP2 up and running at the new place.

Hopefully I'll help fill out the network.  I'm in the Kansas City metro...
