Title: STM32 Driver
Post by: Jumpin Joe on September 19, 2013, 11:55:51 AM
I downloaded the latest firmware from the Blitzortung website to my download folder on my PC, then connected the discovery board to my PC with the USB cable and waited for the driver to be installed. Got an error message that the driver for the STM32 did not install.

Did I do something wrong? I do I get the correct driver so I can flash the firmware?

Thanks,

Joe

Did you download the ST program/driver from their website:STSW-LINK004?

http://www.st.com/web/en/catalog/tools/PF258168 (http://www.st.com/web/en/catalog/tools/PF258168)

See 2.1.1 Flashing in the documentation.

Also, which version of Windows? There is a special procedure for Win8 in 2.1.2.
