Alerts on Ambient. WS5000
« on: August 02, 2021, 03:01:35 PM »
I want to set up alerts for battery and lighting strikes.  All I’m allowed to use is greater then or less then. I have two new 1.5 volt batteries in my sensors. I have tried if less then 2.5 and if less then 1.3. Both send out alerts with in a few mins. I know the batteries can’t be that low. They are new.  Anyone set these alerts up before?

Hi!

Ambient unfortunately only knows the states 0 and 1.
So there's only ok or not ok.

So I am assuming that for battery not ok I would use less then one. That is assuming 1 = ok 0 = not ok.

Also. Am I allowed to do on temperature less then 32 degrees (freezing).  If not then the alerts for most parameters are useless.

That's right.

According to the official docs these states are defined:

Low Battery = 0
Normal Battery = 1
