VP2 on dock
« on: August 26, 2022, 09:27:28 AM »
The primary purpose of this is to have some idea about what  the wind is doing on the lake for sailing. It's not ideal for general wind but is largely providing us what we need. We also have 4 temp probes in the water measuring temp at three different depths in shade (under the middle of the platform) and one in sun @ 4' depth.

BTW, that's the moon setting about 4am.

Look up 'BOUY" for an idea on how to get data from out on the lake, unaffected by shore air currents and other factors.  (wink).
