There appears to be a transient bug with the calculation of 3-minute average wind direction "winddir". It seems to occur when the direction is exactly 180. It happened twice this morning during a period of southerly gales. It is evident from the difference between Winddir and Gustdir; the two Json records showing it are:
"date":"2021/02/14","time":"09:48:00","windspd":29.0,"winddir":360,"windavg2":26.4,"windavg10":26.1,"gust":42.0,"gustdir":180
"date":"2021/02/14","time":"11:39:00","windspd":31.0,"winddir":360,"windavg2":30.1,"windavg10":29.6,"gust":49.0,"gustdir":180
There is an independent check too. My old Davis system with a Vantage Pro2/WeatherLink/Meteohub system is still online. It gave the following records for the two times:
Date_time,avSpeed,dirDegrees
2021/02/14 09:48,23,165
2021/02/14 11:39,26,178
I am afraid I don't know the firmware version of the WiFiLogger, I am not yet in a position to check yet because of Covid-19 restrictions on access.
