Title: I am thinking of getting a new hard drive for my wx station px (UPDATE)

I been getting strange updates on my wx pc for a while now. It will stop updating my website for no reason. No error in the wx software (WD) at all.

So yesterday I moved weather display on a different pc that I had laying around. and it has been running just fine for almost 12 hours.
So I am thinking the hard drive is not well.

If anyone had got a NEW hard drive for there wx pc setup what kind of one did you get?

Depends on the hard drive connection available.

I have an older Toshiba laptop that died - replaced the HD with a solid-state drive.  Amazing improvement.

Yes, I did as well about a week ago. It's light speed compared to the old drive.  =D>

I went to the city yesterday and came home with a 500 GB SSD. After going online to dells website because the bios was old on my computer and windows would not see the ssd. Everything is working great. I do have a little but of a problem why parts of my website are not updating now. But that might be a new post on the forum.
