I've been using Ken True's crtest.php for some years, to notify visitors to the site when system maintenance, etc is resulting in downtime.
However, for some time now, crtest.php hasn't been functioning properly. When the clientraw.txt isn't being updated, crtest.php correctly displays the message.
But when clientraw.txt is updating as per normal, crtest.php is still displaying its message and defaulting to a static 7 minutes!
I've had to take the entry for crtest.php out of the header but would really like to be able to put it back and use it.
Help to solve the problem will be gratefully received.
