My 6313 console display has gone dark

After operating with no issues since purchased a few months ago, the display has gone dark on my 6313 console. When I disconnect and reconnect the power after a minute or so, I hear a chime and see the green light, but still nothing on the screen. Has anyone else experienced this or have suggestions?

Find a paperclip and bend out a straight section. Press the "R" button on the back of the console momentarily. (do not make a long press, otherwise you will have to repeat your setup again). This is inside a small hole next to the molded "R"  label.

Mine was dark this morning and the "R" button worked and everything came back up. There was a notification about the update.
