If you have weatherwizz. What do you use it with?

I am thinking of signing up with weatherwizz. But I was kind of worried that I will never use it for its full potential.

So my question is. IF you have weatherwizz how do you use it? With a old tablet stuck on a wall? living room TV?

Thanks!

I'm using Weatherwizz.
I'm running it on 15" monitors, wall mounted.
Using Rpi's to drive the monitors. For the money, it is well worth the price for the ease of setup.
Changes take seconds to do!

Thanks for the info. That would be a nice idea. did you do anything special with the Rpi to get them setup?

thanks again!

stevenh:
I loaded the latest OS from Raspberry Pi Imager.
I had 4 RPi's that were tv streamers no longer in service.
Two were too old to run Chromium which is all you need to display Weatherwizz. I did create a tinyurl.com for shorten the URL.
On the older two I did try different images but gave up.

One of them, I wrote a couple of bash scripts to load two tabs in chromium. Wizz on one and NOAA https://water.weather.gov/ tide gauge on the other.
In the script I send a ctrl-tab to switch the pages displayed, --kiosk mode in chromium.

But there is an issue, that I haven't been able to figure out. The baro and wind graphs don't refresh and are blank.
If I also add a ctrl-F5 to refresh the wizz page, it displays the graphs.
This seems to be a chromium issue as switching tabs on the desktop works fine.

Thanks! I am doing a fresh Raspberry OS install now. Now I will have a use for the old pi that I have.

thanks again! (I may just keep weatherwizz now)
