Okay guys, I may be new to weather stations but I do know a thing or two about weather forecasting and I have a story to prove it...   \:D/

Being born and pretty much raised in Alaska we were exposed to a lot of different levels of weather. Dad used to bring home huge weather balloons filled with helium for us kids to play with...

Working for the CAA (now FAA) one of his duties was weather forecasting which gave him the inside information when it would snow. Anyways, one way to get us to behave for mom would be to tell us if we behaved on that particular night he would flip the "snow switch" and make it snow for us. I think it must have been the same year I figured out the whole Santa Claus thing I learned the truth regarding the snow switch as well.
