Title: Hygrometer calibration

I recently bought a very old Airguide brand thermometer/hygrometer. Does anyone know a way to calibrate an older style hygrometer that uses the paper-metal coil? They aren't overly accurate to begin with but if I can adjust it a bit, I think it'll be close.
