Data changes when I export txt file
« on: August 08, 2020, 05:03:35 AM »
Hi all,
When I browse data in the latest version of WL software it shows my air pressure readings to be in the 900s-1000s. All good.
However when I export data as a txt file this changes to be in the 700s. As far as I can tell all other data is ok.

Has anyone got any ideas? Change the 7 to a 9?
Bit odd isn’t it?

Many thanks.

Sorry to change the question slightly, but upon inspection the air pressure data in WL software IS in the 700s and so it's not the export that is the issue.
I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and think this may be the issue....

I'm now thinking that I haven't set my altitude when i upgraded to Win 10?

This is a comparison of my historic air pressure for a month (x) against the new values that are now in my wlk files (y).
I wonder if i set my altitude in my station on WL, it will alter the records...?

Are you sure that you haven't got the pressure unit set to mmHg rather than mb?

1020mb is 765mm Hg so yes.... that looks like the reason.
Many thanks John, I’ll report back when I’ve tried to change it and see if it alters the records.
