Currently snow and sleet falling outside the station...man that sounds like an old AM radio jocks lead in line

Forecast says little if any accumulation.  Who knows though

Blacksburg took out any mention of snow in Roanoke's forecast for tonight, until it was updated about 30 minutes ago.

Currently snowing pretty good outside now, with a dusting already on the ground, and my interpretation of the local radar looks like snow at least for the next hour or so.

It's snowing here pretty well.  Got an inch or two by now.  I have been watching it all night.  Never went to sleep, something was keeping me up.  I guess it was this storm.

  We received wet snow yesterday too, causing numerous traffic accidents in the morning.  Amazing what a little bit of snow can do.
Twelve car pile-up on the State Parkway just two miles away from me.  Glad I stayed in my pajamas all day!!  \:D/

Anyway, most of it is melted now...gone again!  Here one day, gone the next!
I shouldn't have bothered shoveling it late yesterday, as it would have melted on it's own. #-o
Ah, Winter!

That's kind of what happened here just before Christmas, and just after, except it was only about an inch or less on both accounts, so I had no shoveling. This winter has been somewhat dismal in terms of snow, but it's been great with the cold and wind! I'm itching for the warm weather to return to the midwest...storm chase trip #2 is being planned  \:D/, and this year, some of my friends are old enough to go . (And I'll be 19 in April..). Last year was great 'cept for the fact that 3.5 inch hail destroyed the sunroof of my car last year, of which my $500 laptop sat under..water destroyed it, and I had to have glass removed from my arm and neck.  :-( (Note to self: never buy a car with a freakin' sunroof  #-o ](*,))

Okay..I'm done with being excited here..I just don't like winter that much!
