What software is used, is it a part of Tycho?
« on: December 18, 2024, 02:31:11 PM »
This  link to a video talking about additional light pollution from now Chinese satellites doing a Musk program of putting thousands of satellites in orbit is discussed briefly here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJ7JlPayvqU&t=82s

About 50 seconds into the video there is a interactive graphic with satellite orbit, subsatellite plotting and other interesting orbit plotting shown.  The screen is so fuzzy on my computer I cannot see a name or copyright.  The comments have a possible clue talking about Tycho, but nothing more.

Can anyone identify the graphic program shown?
Thanks   Dale

Looking at the video description and comments, it does appear to be a new feature of the software.  There's also a contact tab on the web site:
https://www.tycho-tracker.com/

Hope this helps you, Dale!

Thank  you for reviewing it and looking at the 'new features,' something that I didn't pick up on.
I need to get a bigger screen and read more carefully.

Thank  you again for the info.   Dale
