Ryan,

I've got your camera up. What direction is it pointing? Also, looks like the supercell shifted track to the NE some. TVS is roughly 30 mi to your SW. Be careful.

Nice volume scan John! What a cell! It's huge! I can't get over how much area this one supercell covers! The good thing (For Ryan) anyway, is that it seems like it's having troubles moving unlike the other cells. Does anyone have any reasoning behind this?

Just had a report 10 miles southeast of Ellis, or about 7 miles southwest of Hays of a tornado going up and down.

This was the image I saved that I thought might have shown a tornado. I can't tell if it's on the ground or not, but there is definitely a wall cloud there.

Hopefully, the worst is over for Ryan.  Meanwhile, NWS says potential for tornadic supercells will increase between 7pm and 9pm over W OK as wind shear increases while current severe storms approach Oklahoma City.  Oklahoma City live severe weather chat here:  http://www.weatherspotlight.com/?page_id=40

Whew, dew point in the low 70s, heat index in low 90s, feels like in low 100s, and near the east boundary line of tornado watch here until 11pm.  Tomorrow, things could get worse.  Then north Oklahoma like Enid and Stillwater and south to the Oklahoma City area are in a RED risk area for severe weather.

Check out the outflow boundaries west of Dodge City.  Storms firing off of them, too.

Hi all,

I made it out OK. Big massive cloud was rotating above my house. Tornado sirens sounded for 55 minutes.

Glad you're okay, Ryan. Knew it was close judging by the camera and watching your anemometer.
