New, Free Way to Display Archived Radar Imagery
« on: February 09, 2013, 07:10:28 PM »
I'm not exactly sure how new this is, but it is VERY cool for anyone who likes to look at historic radar data, and wants to see it for FREE.

Enjoy! I found this second best to looking at archive data on Gibson Ridge products :-)

Cool. I went back and looked at the 6-29-12 Derecho that blew through your neck of the woods. Would be nice if they had an animation feature but I didn't see it.

It was when I was doing research for the derecho that my friend found this. My friend and I are working on a research project for the derecho, which will be presented in California. I won't get to go because of my classes, but my name will be on the presentation 8-)

I couldn't find the loop either, but other than that I thought it was pretty neat, especially with the different backgrounds to use.
