I should change my reflectivity settings back to -30, I only have it at 10 right now so Im not picking it up...That comma is still holding up a little bit though :-)

Tornado reported on ground between Frierson and Kingston on amateur radio.  Near Kickapoo.

Darn storms are probably getting too close to radar for good velocities but they are getting good rotation visible even so close.  Good hook.

Debris balls are higher reflectivities, usually in the lavender on mine, 70+.  The debris is higher density.  They can be confused with hail-cores but debris balls happen at the end of a hook where there is no hail.

Still a hook on Level II radar near Plum Orchard Landing and as I type the update shows intensification.  Dr forbes just showed a slice thru the storm.  These storms are going to die out later tonight when they move into drier and cooler air.  Tomorrow is a zero for severe weather.
ADDED:  The tops are low but are probably higher than shown since storms are so close to radar.

Tonight was definitely better then expected.  They are probably going to have to consider extending that warning south of Minden a little further.

I'd say that's still producing.

I agree the threat should be ending before too long.

It sure does from that pic! Just a quick off the wall subject, do u have some kind of cities template on ur gr radar, and did u create ur color table?

This storm is now producing some of the highest tops all afternoon: 47K (Not that high really)

I'm running the USA national road shapefile.  The color tables I'm running I got from GRlevelxstuff.com

They extended the warning.  That thing is completely rain wrapped at this point, can't even tell it's there on BR.  Just velocity scans.

At least I did better than last night.  My tale ender and another close behind both went.
Not much in the velocity scans and the structure nothing to look at.
I think all the interesting activity is going to end.
