New Orleans LA and mobile AL are getting pounded right now.
We've had widespread wind damage reports. Lots of trees and power lines down across southeast Louisiana, along with a few roofs ripped off. We had 50+ mph gusts from the frontal passage alone. As this line pushes east into Alabama, the tornado threat is higher....especially for southern Alabama.
Our CAP down here held pretty well in tack until just before the line moved in. Pretty good job by the RUC model.
