Topic: Ugggg... why is Acuparse so difficult to install and use?!

After spending several hours trying and trying to get Acuparse to install without errors on my Raspberry Pi, now I can't get past the homepage. After setting a username and password, the homepage displays nothing but the number one ("1"). What am I doing wrong? Are there any viable alternatives to Acuparse?
