We had a 3-day ice storm that took out a lot of trees/power lines around here. Our power was out for several days.
The Linux box no longer recognizes the HDD, so something died in the process. (I haven't dug into the failure mode because I want to stop using the FTP box anyways)
I was using a Linux box as a local FTP server since my hosting server didn't like all the concurrent uploads, although I seem to be getting away with direct uploads so far.
My problem is that
https://www.rogerscityweather.com/wxstatus.php is struck at
Sun, 30-Mar-2025 7:08pm for the FTP items. The "realtime" and Blitzortung items are OK.
I have checked and rechecked the server settings for the uploads from Meteobridge PRO and the old Meteohub. I had to change them from the local IP address to my hosting incoming server public_html directory.
I have regenerated and retested the genMB tags stuff, gone through the lines in both wxstatus.php and the associated include file. I did comment a few things out that I will no longer need, but nothing seems to work for the FTP status.
I think that things are basically back to normal otherwise, but there a few stray dead/old links still lurking. I need help with the FTP status stuff primarily.
