Hi, I am using Weather Display Build 152 and I am using the Saratoga-Weather Base USA template, and I have been having a lot of trouble with the clientraw & testtags file being created and uploaded to my web server.

I redownloaded the plugins and even reinstalled the WD software, but nothing worked. What should I do?

Okay, I got part of it working again, the thermometer is acting up, and the time isn't displaying on the webpage.

Edit the Settings-weather.php file and perform the weather software-specific setup, including the setup of your weather software to upload the required [WXname]tags.php file and the realtime file(s) used for the AJAX updates to your website.
The detailed instructions are found in the WXtags-template-files/README.txt file from the weather software plugin .ZIP file and at the links below. If you change directory names or units-of-measure from the defaults in the Settings.php and Settings-weather.php files, make the corresponding changes to the ajax[WXname]wx.js file in your site

The clientrawhour file isn't being produced for some reason. I have it set to "create a clientawhour file every five minutes".

You may need to restart WD when you change an FTP setting.

How are you doing that the clientrawhour file is created hourly by WD usually 1 min to the hour and normally uploaded by the clientrawrealtimeftp with the other clientraw files
Check the modified file time and date in folder the clientraw files are in

Okay, double-checked my FTP settings, they were correct, but nothing seemed to have worked

Apparently my webfiles are still not updating, hopefully that is the issue. I am having to manually update them by doing in Weather Display:

> Update Files and Webcam Now

Looks like I got clientraw.txt working once again, just need to get the testtags file working now.

When I checked your status page the file were updating but the page is getting a fatal error due to the template-version-info being missing in the cache folder check your file permissions on the folder and files within are high enough to allow them to be created and written too

I'm using altervista, haven't activated server to server, so that is going to be a common error I believe.

Otherwise the file uploading seems to be working just fine, I had to completely uninstall then reinstall the program.

Yes, on altervista sites, you MUST enable external website access for many of the template scripts to work correctly.  Otherwise, no forecasts for weather nor UV will be available.
