VP2 easel stand problem
« on: April 06, 2017, 06:11:24 PM »
Hi everyone,

I was adjusting the easel stand in the back on the vantage pro2 console and the top small part with the 4 small plastic prongs,  came off.  I can't get it into the lower stand where the two round slots are, seems like the upper part is too wide.  I tried using a little soap on the ends and tried  squeezing it to get it to fit in, but no luck.  Any one know of a solution to get it hook up?

Just be careful. I broke 1 or 2 of mine. Have to use them as "wall hangers". I know they are very difficult to adjust so be sure you have them correct before reassembly.

Depending on your confidence, you can always gently heat it to make it a little more pliable.
No, i have not tried this yet but i have heated many plastics to manipulate them and i would
do it with this if i had your issue, it has to be carefully done as not to get it to hot that it bubbles/melts
you need to heat it, try it, heat i some more, try it, again, i hold no responsibility for you doing so
this is just what i would do myself soas not to break any lugs off
Kind regards
