I have a cabled vantage pro with rain gauge and T/H sensor and extended cable. Also a daytime fan-aspirated radiation shield. Also weatherlink data logger 6510usb.

What is your location? How old is it?

My location is Long Island N.Y. The cabled vantage pro was bought in 2002 and was in service for 5 years when I bought a wireless vantage pro 2. I failed to mention I also have the console for the cabled station. The weatherlink was bought in 2011 and in service until I bought the latest weatherlink about 5 years ago

It's a VP1 then, predating the VP2?

Everything works, tested just a few weeks ago. The only thing I did not test recently is the weatherlink, which was working when taken out of service.

Yes original cabled vantage pro. Just a note on the fan aspirated, it is for the wireless vantage pro or pro 2.

Another note looking thru my records, the sim board for the cabled station was replaced in 2007. So considering I bought the VP2 wireless shortly after this, it should have plenty of life still left in it.
