Update 4/21/2025 (Old Update)

4/21/2025 Update
• Fixed some weather parameters not showing
• Now showing high/low temperatures recorded by weather station today by using Wunderground/IBM API
Future Updates Planned:
• Fix Accuracy of Graphs
• Mobile Version for Smartphones and other small devices.
• Fixing the Weather Trends page.

Still no data, and I see why.

Your scripts require geolocation permissions (I will not be giving you those!) and then seem to use my location to fetch data to display in your page - very odd. Without the geolocation the page fails apart from the web cam images.

Welp, I'm being accused for privacy invasion, oof.

I believe the Cursor Software when I told it to "Build a Weather Station Application", and I know this isn't going to sound super convincing, but I apologize for any privacy incontinences, I do NOT intend to sell anyone's data to any company or organization. I am removing these lines of code requesting any geolocation information.

If I get suspended or even banned off of the forums for this, I completely understand.

I don't think you'll be banned, but YOUR website should specify a location for YOUR station and not ask for anyone else's

Ok, at long last, thank you guys, this took too long to figure out.
Thanks for pointing out the high & low temps also, it fetches that data from Wunderground, since Ambient Weather doesn't have a parameter for high & low temperatures. May need to optimize API requests.

OK, now for some tinkering. Wind doesn't look good without a space after the colon.

And is the right column centred? Maybe try a line break after mph?

Ah, see what you mean, added a little padding with the wind column.
I will also add a line-break to the Beaufort Scale, just as you mentioned.

The last updated date and time appears to be showing the viewers local time and not your time zone so the time of writing 8:50 am the last updated shows 8:50am but the beach webcam is dark you time is 1:50am so this may need a tweet

The hit counter your using appears to be suspended or the site is as I have found so you may need to try another hit counter site

Thank you everybody for notifying me what was wrong about the website.
Apparently the Graphs are way off, so I am going to use Wunderground's rapid history API to improve the graphs.

April 23rd 2025 Update:

Decreased Width of Forecast Page for optomization.
Fixed Timezone being the users timezone, defaulting to the station timezone.
Loading Screen Text changes for loading time. +5s: Hang In There.. +10s: Taking some time, please wait.. +15s: Something may have gone wrong, try reloading this page
Fixed No UV Value glitching to Extreme, now defaults to "NA".
Fixed Suspended Visitor Count.

Thanks for your feedback, as mentioned in a previous update, I will get to working on the trends page again.
The unit switcher also sounds like a pleasant idea, I will get to working on it, and I just pushed an update through, is it showing the time for your timezone or a different timezone?

April 24th 2025 (Old Update):

Added a hover effect for all cards.
Fixed Auto-update now working, minutes and seconds abbreviations added.
Line-break removed from Beaufort scale
Added margin to the right for Wind/Beaufort Scale
Temporarily Removed "Weather Trends" Page from menu.
Added The Radar Card, just a static GIF of the MOB (NWS Mobile) radar.

Looks like I found another feature that involved geolocation requests, the "Compare Weather Stations" button.
As of now, if you don't want to grant permissions, then avoid using this feature temporarily.

Day length: 13:14

Looks like its added the time difference between your location and mine

Don't know why Cursor just leaves so many unhandled errors, but thank you for letting me know.
