Boltek PCI Stormtracker & PCI-E & Windows 11
« on: January 08, 2025, 01:59:31 PM »
Hello

Did anybody get running a PCI Stormtracker at a actually PCI-E Mainboard (with which riser card or like this?) and Windows 11?

I still running the PCI Card here on a Board with PCI but Win 10 runs out now.

I haven't the money to spent 2000 Dollar for a LD stormtracker..

Thanks

Apologies, I misread your post. I don't need a riser. Have you contacted Boltek to ask them?

Hello

Thanks, I still habe the old PCI Version of the stormtracker.

And all newer mainboards for Win 11 have PCI-E Slots.

So I can't connect without a riser card this old pci card into a PCI-E slot.

I like to know if somebody here can tell me which riser card works.

I frighten to try out because I have read that some riser cards damage pci cards.

Cheers Florian
