Hi everyone, I'm a software engineer and a lifelong weather and climate enthusiast. I've spent the last two years developing the website http://ptweather.com . I’d love to hear your thoughts on my weather and climate site.

I aimed to create a comprehensive analytics tool, currently free for use, ideally suited for those familiar with other weather platforms such as PivotalWeather and Windy. Although it’s designed to be user-friendly, I wonder if it’s only because I’m so familiar with it. What do you think?

On the site, you can query forecasts and historical data dating back to 1941 and generate weather maps. You can also create graphs to explore long-term climate trends. Please check out the "About" page for more details on what you can do on the site: https://www.ptweather.com/about

If you’re interested in diving deeper, I have tutorials on how to utilize all the features on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@PTWeather

Instant Tab (Basic in video) - https://youtu.be/rTpOowsTwL4?si=c7DduxHRnKGXld5S

Range Tab (Aggs in video) - https://youtu.be/9GXlEFpNyJs?si=dcqHtulxLjOsNgMS

Graph Tab (Graph in video) - https://youtu.be/90Csx_GdGFE?si=ITPVnjOav0Lk2p3V

I appreciate any feedback, especially on how intuitive the site is for new users and any features you’d love to see added. Thank you for checking it out!

Kinda tough on a phone. I'll bring it up this weekend on a PC and see what it can do.

Thank you! Yes, it works on phone, but not really meant for it right now. Best experience is on a laptop. Hopefully I'll have something more phone friendly developed in the next year.
