I recently wrote a blog post for how to use HAMweather's new Aeris API in existing HW3 installations...

You do have to have an Aeris account but free access up to 750 requests per day is available which should work for most personal weather sites.
If anyone is interested in doing other development using the Aeris API please let me know.
This post is mostly related to displaying current conditions from Aeris in HW3. I'll be blogging about including point and other forecasts in the next few weeks.
