I have now more bandwidth. So I am thinking of trying my hand at doing a live stream with one of my webcams. Any thoughts on how I should do it? I do have blue-iris software. I have thought of opening a port but I am kind of worried in doing that.

I have 2 Nest cams and they have been worry free for a few years now. I went the Hikvision route
for a number of years but I wanted to get away from another program having to run to get them online.
(PS Anthony I have a lot of new signals this year too :-P )

I have been using Yawcam for nearly 10 years with my Logitech 9000

Thanks for the info. I thought of a nest but I was not sure if it would do everything I would want it to do.

I like the Nest cams. They are worry free for me. No open ports or anything to stream them.
I dont like how I have to display them on my site though. No reliable thumbnail images from what i've found
except for a lot of messing around with their API. But no complaints from my customer at least. [tup]

I will watch the nest cams for now. I don't want to start over with my camera system.
I was able to get one camera streaming on earthcam right now so I will see how that goes. Thank you for the info guys
