Just received this email from Lincoln NWS office a bit ago...

Good afternoon,
I wanted to let you know that later this year the NWS will be replacing our Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service (AHPS) page...https://water.weather.gov/ahps/. AHPS has been the main online platform for viewing river observations and forecasts since the late 1990s. The new, modern platform will be called the National Water Prediction Service (NWPS). The current timeline for this transition will be late fall/early winter. However, this timeline can shift as development and testing continues.
The NWS has put together a GIS StoryMap that outlines the new design features and capabilities that will come with this new webpage interface...https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/fce72e9168a7402dbfc49fc5b49cee2e. As we get closer to implementation and more information becomes available, we'll share that with you as well as post it to the News Headlines section at the top of our webpage....www.weather.gov/ilx/.

Darrin Hansing
