Hello,
It has been a while since I posted here but I got my Boltek Lightning detector back up and running on my new computer. Although I found one with a PCI slot the new case was compact and hard to include the full size PCI Lightning card. See topic:
http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=35891.0 So I had to decide what to do after the old computer went down in February. Things were further delayed by my back injury towards the end of February so after recovering I got back to working on it in July and decided it would be better to upgrade to a new LD 350 from Scaled Instruments since it was better price than direct from Boltek.
The Installation was smooth and since I cannot climb up on the roof easily I used the original antenna and it's been running since the end of July but unfortunately the Monsoon has been a bust so far with way below normal rain and lightning activity. It can be seen at the following link
http://pepperridgenorthvalley.com/lightning.php it is running on LIghtning 2K 5.6.1 the last version I have of the now defunct Aninoquisi website sadly because of Mark's passing but I got it to work with windows 10. As I really like the storm analysis with the L2K software
I also got my Microsferics receivier finally working on the new computer and I am now contributing to the their Lightning Network. Pepperridge North Valley is pleased to announce the addition of a new page to our website it is located at the following link:
