Topic: WeatherLink Live Stopped Reporting

Overnight I got several emails from WeatherLink saying my WLL had stopped reporting then started again then stopped and started.

I run CumulusMX and there are no gaps in the data.

How do I troubleshoot this.

Just happened again and the WLL seems to be offline?

So I removed the batteries , disconnected the PSU, counted to 10 ( ) reconnected the PSU and inserted fresh batteries.

It is back online - we shall see!!!

Me too. Glad I am not the only one. It just started overnight. Status page says All Systems Operational.

Same issue here, all night sporadic emails saying stopped then resumed. I unplugged and replugged back in, but appears wasn't just my hardware it seems.

I've got a handful too. Sent a support email to Davis, no response yet.

Does anyone know if this has been cured yet as it's now over 15 hours since I had the last automatic reporting status message

I have had no more since yesterday so I presume whatever it was is now fixed!!

Heh, well, I'm still getting these erroneous emails - at least as of 4pm Pacific Time.

Is there any way to contact Davis, directly?  Or do we think they adequately know that their system is still broken?

I went through support and got this response AFTER it had been fixed, at least on my end.

???????Please note that emails sent Jan 25 evening and Jan 26th morning stating that your WeatherLink Live was offline were untrue and the emails were sent to you by mistake.  We have resolved this problem and you should not get any more false outage emails.  Unless you have actually noticed missing data, please feel free to simply ignore these emails.  Thank you and our apologies for the trouble.

Hmm, am I the only one still receiving these?

There seems to be something definitely broken w/ their alert system, as the "STOPPED reporting" emails come about 2 hours after the "last Updated" time in the email.  The "RESUMED" emails come immediately, and so I actually get the "RESUMED" emails before the "STOPPED" emails.

e.g.:

Type    - "Last Updated" - Email timestamp
STOPPED - 8:45am         - 10:52am
RESUMED - 8:50am         - 8:50am

So, they still need to fix this - hopefully I am not the only one still receiving them.
