I am from Ohio too...all is working fine here for me. I just logged out and in with Chrome (Mac) and it was okay.

Also, iOS Chrome is okay.

When I set things up, I just used the map that was available and it worked fine.

What link are you using to get to the map?

It was under Add Device on the website and then clicked on the Device Location to bring up the map.

I am not having any luck, maybe there site is messed up.  No matter what I do now I am in an endless loop of logging in the Chinese panel.

I figured out what it was, I had to have https:// now it is working, moving forward to setup more devices.

Anyone with the Ecowitt PM2.5 finding that it reads slightly high and that it is pretty hard to get it to go below about 5-6ug/m3 even when placed on an air purifier?

Other PM2.5 meters read 0 when placed on top of an air purifier.

I agree. 6 is the lowest I have seen it go down to and it seems very sensitive to pollen levels. I get massive spikes at certain times of the day which I am putting down to pollen. I will be interested to see how sensitive it is during the summer months. I keep mine outside in the garden some 10 meters from the house.

See my data from the Ecowitt.net

I am told its a Honeywell sensor that's supposed to be quite good.

Yes it is a Honeywell. Here is the datasheet with good info and specifications.  I've not seen mine read below 6 either. Maybe it is a firmware issue as the specifications do state that it goes down to zero. And this is supposed to be one of the best PM 2.5 sensors.

Anyone notice the new Ecowitt.net website changes??? It has smaller blocks of data sensors that are more compact and they all fit on the screen without scrolling. I think they caught wind of the complaints of the WU new site and they decided to implement these fixes themselves. I like it!

For me it fits across 2 rows.
I told Lucy to take a look at WeeWX Weather34 and do something similar without shamelessly copying it. ;o)

I have put 0.5 in the WS View app under PM2.5 Gain: calibration and that seems to 1/2 what ever the reading is. EG the above picture I just posted shows 4ug/m3 and the actually small LCD display is showing 8ug/m3

The LCD display now says 5ug/m3 and the app and web site is showing 2ug/m3

I will have to send it high to see what happens.
It really just needs an offset rather than a multiplying or dividing factor/constant.

I have brought the issue of the PM2.5 sensor readings up with Lucy at Ecowitt and she is investigating.
I'll post back when I have an answer.

Anyone can set up an Ecowitt.net account to see the growing map of stations.

Folks the feedback from Ecowitt is that the PM2.5 sensor should be able to read lower values and the fact that its so very sensitive you would need very good equipment to get it down to a genuine zero. (Lab clean room).
To underline this they have undertaken a test in their facilities with an air purifier and managed to get the following reading which does back up the information.

Will the GW1000 be able to work with FineOffset WH-2900 ? Both using 433 Mhz. I already have a WH-2900 ( 433 Mhz) fully configured and uploading data on wunderground and I have ordered a GW1000 433MHz amd would like to upload to ecowitt.net .

Yes. You matched the frequency so you should have no problems.

Just released version of Meteobridge does support the GW1000. Lacking a larger sensor array, any Meteobridge user out there with a GW1000 setup including wind/uv/solar/rain/air quality/moisture is highly welcome to give me remote access to the Meteobridge, so that I can finish development to also support these sensors.

Numbers of sensors supported by the GW1000 is really impressive and it can directly plugged into the USB port of a regular MR3020 Meteobridge, no additional power needed, no USB hub needed, very neat...

Boris,
I just want to report that it works except Wind and Rain are not being picked up. It also picks up my extra indoor but is mislabeled as Outdoor #1. It should instead read Extra #1 as it can be placed anywhere.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Interestingly it sees or detects the WS-2000 display console as a device but it can't pull data from it. They both use the same internal chip so maybe that is why it sees it on the network but the WS-2000 probably doe not support the data API and that also makes sense as you can't pull data with the WS View app either.

I've worked with Ecowitt acquring the API and with Boris to help make this possible. I arranged for Boris to receive a GW1000 from Ecowitt because I didn't want my Meteobridge to suffer any downtime. If nobody else volunteers I'll step up to bat.

Thank you Boris this is most exciting! This will be better than the ObserverIP.

I made some more fixes, now it seems to also handle wind and rain and air quality fine.

Thank you Boris! That was fast I suffered no downtime. That is my MB with the PM2.5 showing 110 (Data sensor). Boris will fix that factor of 10 off as it should have read 11 instead of 110. Those are ug/m3 of particulate matter. Even though no online service that I know of take PM2.5 yet, I'll be able to log the PM2.5 to my SQL server (once the correction factor of 10 is fixed).

Looks like the GW1000 and the Meteobridge are a new pair. I've switched over from the ObserverIP to the GW1000.

New version with air quality factor 10 fixed is just released. After quite some development work on the GW1000 support today I will now step back and enjoy the evening. If you experience bugs, please report here or at forum.meteobridge.com.

I think I found a new bug in Solar Radiation as it seems x4 too high. Waiting on fix as already reported to Boris. Was not there before PM2.5 fix. The PM2.5 seems okay now though.

Looks like data is off by a factor of 3.725. Just released update does apply that.
